On July 2nd 2016, our 4 artist\/architect pairs presented their ongoing collaborations, and discussed for the first time with an international public the works and workshops they have been developing, their progress so far, their vision, and their response to this year’s theme, I\/WE\/THEY.<\/p>\n
We would like to thank those who joined us in this 3-hour virtual forum spanning 3 continents to ask questions, challenge the teams, and widen this dialogue between East and West, art, society, and architecture. You can watch videos from each team’s live presentation below.<\/p>\n
The theme I\/WE\/THEY is the core of both Space Media Festival (Taipei, 18-28 Aug. 2016) and Modern Body Festival (The Hague, 29 Nov – 3 Dec 2016). Through it, we are exploring the effects of architecture, technology and digital communication, as critical social interfaces that are fundamentally transforming the way we exist as a society, culture, species.<\/p>\n
