OCT 26-28 | EXHIBITION | GREY SPACE IN THE MIDDLE
“Last year I traveled from Kiev to Slaviansk (Eastern Ukraine). The local airport was destroyed in the military conflict in 2014. The airport is still in ruins, but there is a night train instead. Laying on a train shelf I felt the resonance of banging metal parts with my whole body. That trip became a painful reminder of destructive forces and vulnerability of physical self”.
‘Take me, bring me’ is a participatory 5-channel sound installation reflecting on vulnerability of our senses and position of helplessness. It takes visitors on a sonic journey. Performed for each visitor individually, it encourages perception of sound through the body and explores non-vertical listening modes.
This work is performed for each visitor individually.
