Dubstep, bass music and glitch beat fused with The Hague Electro.
Phill Toffer, aka Phil Tovver, is the DJ alias of Hague-based Patrick de Brieder. Phill has been involved in the electronic music scene since the early days. He later got involved with the legendary Bunker-label and Acid Planet parties, occasionally DJing in them since 2007. Currently his focus mainly lies with breakbeat, bass-tracks and all things glitchy and soulful.
Phill is a winner of the DJBroadcast competition, an irregular contributor to the Lowriders Collective, and he used to co-host a monthly night with fellow bass-crusaders Robby Brighton (Organisms, Fine China Superbone) and Kip Gallus of Charly & Gallus. In recent years, he has been mainly playing in venues and festivals, such as Rewire and State-X New Forms, that allow him to refine the art of set-building and dramatic build-ups.
